Me again with another question that popped in my mind: for the team names task, can we do a retelling? like a Beauty and the Beast retelling for example?

I finished The Ex Talk and updated the spreadsheet. It also has a pink cover so I think it closes off the extra colours we had, plus it works for a few mini tasks. I'm still reading the Green 9 one.
Hello everyone.I finished a book that qualifies for the mini for 25, 26 & 27. Those have the books
25.- Crazy Brave (Jojo)
26.- The Heart Principle (Corina)
27.- Seven Days in June (Corina)
Which one do you think could be dropped?
Also Kira finished one that works for 27 & 31. Same question.
Hi Verónica, I haven't started any of my books, so happy to drop 27 for Kira's book if it works better. Then if Jojo hasn't started hers, its only fair that she can have the other one if she wants :)
Ok, I used 26 & 27, 25 still has Jojo's book and 31 has Corina's.
Ah, ok, I misunderstood it was just one book so thought it was one task hahaAll good to remove mine, haven't started any of those books.
I haven't started Crazy Brave yet. It is a shorter book and I can start it next. I just started Over the Top today though and that will take a few days.
Kira, do you think your book "Only When It's Us" fits in the task "Read a book where someone meets a certain someone"?
I've also been thinking that maybe the current Green 9 I'm reading, My Cousin Rachel, could potentially fit there as well. The main character meets his uncle's widow that he has never met before his uncle's death. Just in case we need it :)
Just finished My Cousin Rachel and updated the spreadsheet. It will work for our 9 Green as well as some of the mini tasks. I haven't moved it to the task "someone meets a certain someone" as I didn't know if we need it, but feel free to do so. And I am sure I can find another book with cutlery in it ;)

Does it work for any of the other task? We could use both. Does it has a shy person in it? Or maybe two people meet? Going to some kind of party? Any of the words in text? I will use yours for the cover task. I haven't progressed much with it, maybe I could put it aside and read something else.
Heli, do you think you could put the page number where you find the words in text for the mini? Were they ebooks? maybe we can find them through google books.

It looks like you added it to the mini for two men on cover. I just started Dead End in Norvelt and the main character meets and helps a senior neighbor, so I put this book as "Read a book where someone meets a certain someone" I hope that fits well and helps to complete another goal.
Also, the current kindle book I'm reading (Undercover Bromance), for some reason doesn't give me page number just location, so I put down chapter and loc instead of page number for the words.

I was thinking in using my reading Of Mice for other task, since you've already read it maybe you know in which other tasks could fit, to see if it's worth the read for the mini or go to something else and leave that book for other time.

For the mini we just need one more for "going to a party" and the "shy person" one.

Hello, I moved one of the books I'm currently reading to the last party task and I will be finished with it today. I've put another book I know has food in it in its place.Also, I found a relatively short audiobook from my library and one of the characters is described as quiet and polite. Would that class as shy do you think?

Yes I think it'll do for shy. About the one you replaced, I'm about to finish Of Mice and Men and it has food mentioned in it, I don't think it qualifies for other task, do you mind if I use it in the task you moved?

As you can see I went overboard with my load (my bad) I will be finishing three of them by the end of this week and I chose two very short audios (tasks 36 & 38). But if a team member with no pending books finds something for tasks 14 & 15 be my guest.
My current read fits both 14 & 15. I can also continue The Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy series if needed.

Just finished my book for task 8. I only have the Sherlock Holmes book and it's not a very long one, so I should be able to squeeze another book by the end of the month. Just let me know if I should search for one in particular? :)

Me again, I just noticed something in our April mini...Heli's book has fork in it and also your book Horns has fork in it. Do you want me to replace Horns instead? Or there is another utensil/cutlery there?I know they need to be unique, so no repeats.

I found the word knife in Horns, so I left that book and removed the Scarlet Letter.
