Thank you. I don't have covid, but I think it may be the flu. It's made rounds through my whole family and of course saved the best for last. lol

I started a new audiobook that I think we would need for the letter X and updated the spreadsheet and mini to reflect the books that I realistically think I will finish this month.

In the mini, the ones already reading or logged a book on colors and swaps, keep on going with those, but we don't need extras so no need to keep looking. If you logged a book on swaps, give priority if it's an X or Q (6 or skip). W's are less urgent, since in the main we have only two 2's left (and very easy to find) but we have four 6's left.

We are a little behind with paintings and countries.

Paintings is definitely the one we are far behind. I think your new book will go to countries, swaps are ok now.

In the main challenge we have just two cards left and one is a zero, the other a skip that I will be using for a swap. So, we're done!

Vanessa, your book The Replacement Wife has a W for a swap but it doesn't say what is the W for, could you please write it? I did used it for a swap.

The mini is looking good, but we still need more paintings and countries.

Of paintings we have five, I'll be reading one more soon, and maybe can squeeze one more short book for that. So that will left three more to go.

Of countries we have six, I can do at least two more, one I'm currently reading and the other one is also a short read, I have a third logged but it's a little longer and I'm not sure I could finish it. So that will leave two more to go.

I finished How the one armed sister sweeps her house and updated our spreadsheet. It can be used for the country task on the mini. It could also work for the W, but I didn't put it down as I assume we have enough of those.

No, they were very specific on not having any part of the book set in the countries mentioned.

Was it for cover? If it is, we can ask in the group for a librarian to add it. Covers give us more points, we can replace one of the books we have for text..

Hi everyone!

Things have been a little bit smoother this month, right?

We are just three books from finishing the mini. I think we're all set. If someone has a book for Q or for color cover categories we can still maximize points. Just sayin'.

April cards are in, here is the countdown:

We have some interesting changes in April. The WD4 card is out and instead we get Overload cards, which I think were inspired by the alternative color covers on the mini. They work only for colors, so no letters attached to them. We can do each color just once. They count the same points as WD4's.

Another change is a Colored Skip card. They work the same as regular color cards but now with K's and P's.

So, how was our luck with the April hands? Well... all I can say is 10... TEN! 5's 😓. How about 7's? NINE. And we got six green covers, not a nice thing to get, but manageable. We are an excellent team anyway 🦾.

So 16 color cards and one more hand to complete as per usual on April. This is the final stretch before the May reading hangover. Enjoy!

For the March Mini, I have 2 books for paintings I'm currently reading and will finish by the end of March, unless we need to focus on something else?
I have one more written down for painting and one more for cover colour but not sure if I can get to both...potentially could do one of them. The cover colour I could leave for next months?

I think painting is still the priority. If you can start the color cover one and finish it, that's cool, but if you don't finish it we can still use it for next month.

Just finished Piranesi and updated the spreadsheet. This counted as a Fantasy painting in the mini.
Since we are good on the locations section of the mini I will take my time on finishing The Highland Witch and can transfer that on to April's Spreadsheet.

I have this book I think I will start next, because it can be used for a 5

Nice! With your painting book, Corina's and mine that I'm about to finish we'll be done with the mini. And I just added the April tab to log books.

I loved that book (I'll be gone) 😀. There's also a great documentary based on it.

Sounds like two much needed Reverse cards to me 😁. And we have a hand with a 5, a Reverse and Draw 2. That book will work pretty well there.

The color cover books can still work for April overload cards, what color do you have? since we can do each color just once, I want to look for books to plan.
