reeder (reviews) | 103 comments Anne Mather:
Forbidden Flame
The High Valley (may be a spoiler for this one?)
Chase a Green Shadow (hero is a lay pastor, so he isn't clergy)

Rebecca Winters:
Second-Best Wife

Honestly not sure any of the heroes in these are virgins, chaste, or sexually hesitant.

I could swear that the hero of Anne Mather's Pale Dawn, Dark Sunset was a former priest, or at least in seminary school. The heroine's niece was the only survivor of a plane crash and she heads to Mexico to find her.

Haven't read it in years, so maybe someone else can confirm.

Does it have to be an HP?
If not, Sandra Brown's Tempest in Eden fits. It's an interesting read because the heroine is a model with a somewhat scandalous background.

I'm happy to help. :)
I hope you enjoy it. It's been so long since I read it, I just remember the bare bones of the plot. Must dig it up again.

wendyj (wjbright) | 15 comments Hi Rach, if you are looking at more than just HP, I've read quite a few that have this type of hero (and heroine) and are general romance and not "love inspired" line or "religious" per se. The first one I read was "Tempest in Eden" which is still one of my favorite Sandra Brown books. I also enjoyed her books Led Astray and The Devil's Own which were sort of along these lines.
There is a good reads list for Clergy here: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/7...
and my bookshelf is here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
