January: New Year Resolutions

For the first month, we'll have a simple solo challenge to start us off, vaguely based on the theme new year resolutions.

Rules

2. Every book you finish in January can count.
3. Post your finished books here, stating which prompt it checks.
4. You can join in at any time during this challenge.

2. A book from a genre you don't usually read.
3. A book where a character discovers something about themselves.
4. A book where a character falls in love.
5. A book where a character finds a friend.
6. A book with a character who plays an instrument.
7. A book not originally written in your 1st language.
8. A book where a character leaves a toxic relationship (no matter whether romantic/platonic/familial).
9. A book with the word "new" in the title or subtitle.
10. A book someone recommended to you.
11. A book from an author you haven't read before.
12. A book where a character travels.
