I must say I'm actually glad I read prequel before this as the parts about Mount St Helens make sense, however I must admit that Finn's dad is very different! I'd love to know what happened in between that book and what not for his more conservative views as an adult lol.
Ary is a piece of work, that's for sure!

I dont feel bad for Ary- she set them up to be captured the day before- she has no mercy herself!

Also Ari and Brandt seem like they could be a perfect match!"
I definitely just take this book as the trope of 'teenagers save the world' haha, which is essentually what it was!
Over all, I found the series relatively enjoyable. I felt that the characters all grew on me and that it became a little more complex as the series went on. I appreciated the diversity amongst the characters, and they all seemed to have their own voice.
The plot was definitely a predictable one, but I'm not too bothered by that because I think I went into it with that knowledge.
As a whole, it wasn't my favourite ever series, but I enjoyed it enough that I will be able to think back fondly of it, I think!
And thanks for joining in too :)

Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!
Mark spoilers by placing {spoiler} before the text and {/spoiler} after the text but use the < and > instead of the { and }.
Happy Buddy Reading!
