Oh crikey! I better get a move on! Haven’t picked it up yet!
I'm up to chapter 16 now!I must say I'm actually glad I read prequel before this as the parts about Mount St Helens make sense, however I must admit that Finn's dad is very different! I'd love to know what happened in between that book and what not for his more conservative views as an adult lol.
Ary is a piece of work, that's for sure!
Yes I might go back and read the prequel- just because I’m enjoying the world it’s set in and interested to see what his dad was like when younger.
I finished! I gave it 3.5. I'll share my thoughts in the morning as it's nearing midnight here haha!
I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish today as I have another book to finish too but I will do my best!

I finished! But I also admit to skimming a bit through the middle of the political storm, which I found quite boring in the end! I also gave this 3.5 stars. Thanks for BR with me- its nice to find someone who is actually reading at the same time (although not always possible) as me. Hopefully see you for many more. Let me know your thoughts on the book now I’ve caught up.

I definitely just take this book as the trope of 'teenagers save the world' haha, which is essentually what it was!
Over all, I found the series relatively enjoyable. I felt that the characters all grew on me and that it became a little more complex as the series went on. I appreciated the diversity amongst the characters, and they all seemed to have their own voice.
The plot was definitely a predictable one, but I'm not too bothered by that because I think I went into it with that knowledge.
As a whole, it wasn't my favourite ever series, but I enjoyed it enough that I will be able to think back fondly of it, I think!
