Christopher | 7 comments The series "Works, #n" for Dietrich Bonhoeffer is missing several volumes, shows one (vol. 2) without a number, and includes a biography as introductory material to reading his works. If the latter is included, it should be numbered #0, if necessary.

Sandra | 31529 comments The biography is only 26 pages, so it would be #0.5.

Added numbers to 2 other books.

Missing books still need to be added by members or someone who knows the author.

Not unless they are also all set in shared universe, have characters in common, have an overarching storyline, etc. For non-fiction that is a bit harder to define, and it seems like an overarching chronology might apply in this case? I am not familiar enough with his works to judge if that is so. But regardless, the biography would certainly not be part of that.

Two volumes contain a dissertation. One volume contains fiction. At least two volumes consist of a single book on a theological subject. Several volumes contains multiple lectures, sermons and letters.

Removed from the series page.

Christopher | 7 comments These are excellent arguments for not considering DBW edition of collected works as a series. Thank you to all who contributed their input.

Sounds like there might be multiple possible series, but none which contains all of the above.
