I don't have specific reading goals for 2022 such as a page count or a book count but there are somethings I want to get cleaned up or finished this year.

Some series I need to finish up and I remember things or start new thingsFairy Tail 38/63
Rurouni Kenshin 6/28
Alex Rider 7/12
Monster Hunter International 1/8
Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? 7/16
Didn't I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life?! 8/13
The Wandering Inn
I'll update this later. This a monster undertaking. I'm currently on book 6 of 8 which doesn't sound bad but book 6 is 6,400 pages, book 7 is 8,000 pages, and book 8 is still being published weekly. Considering the page count goes up every book I'm assuming book 8 will be another monster.
I've also got a bunch of challenges with a handful of tasks left to complete that I want to complete.November Scavenger - 1 task
September Spell - 1 tasks
Utah - 3 tasks
Olympics #22 - 1 task
Winter Scavenger 2020 - 3 tasks
Ancient Ruins - 4 tasks
Advertising - 5 tasks
2021 Book Covers - 4 tasks
2019 Theme - 5 tasks
2020 Theme - 4 tasks
Pandas - 4 tasks
Celebrations - 16 tasks
License Plates - 2 tasks
Reading Rut - 1 tasks
Highway - 8 tasks
Soccer - 25 tasks
Hurricane - 7 tasks
Castle - 4 tasks

Alright, that is a lot of tasks to clean up. There will be some overlap, but still, that is a lot of reading.
Good luck on your challenges, Gord! You're gonna do great, I know it! And yikes! The Wandering Inn books have an insane page count! You got this though!
I added some more series todayMonster Hunter International 0/8
I fell off with this series years ago. Lately I wanted to read a book with monster getting shot in the face and this series is perfect for just that.
A couple of light novel series that fell to the side this year.

Good luck with the series catch up! Especially Wandering Inn. I still think that sounds interesting but its so big its just too intimidating.
My grand plans kind of got sidetracked this month but I'm not really complaining a whole lot. I did read a couple of books from my series I wanted to finish and I crossed off a couple of the challenges to clean up. Most of the month was spent cleaning up all my library requests that I made over the holidays. It felt good though to return to some longer books and I even tackled a couple of books outside of normal bubble. This month I am going to try tackling more challenge books and try to knock some of that stuff down. That and try not to get to distracted by new stuff I want to read.
I'd probably say Fist of the North Star for new reads but there are a lot of good books in there. Dark Days, Berserk, and Ruins of Gorlan are all fantastic books that I'm rereading.
Frankie and Bug as well as Be not Far From Me were both books outside of my normal bubble that ended up being great reads.
Solo Leveling, My Dress Up Darling, and Intrigues were also just solid reads.
It's not an easy decision.
Totally fair! And having that many good reads that the decision is so difficult is a good problem to have.
On the challenge front this has been a good month. I've managed to finish off 7 challenges this month which feels pretty good. I've also been chipping away at some of the other ones as well. I still have a lot to go but it's a start. I can't say I'm doing as well with the series though. About the only one I have been working on has been the Toriko series which I've finished 15 of the 43 manga so far. I'll be back in a couple days to post my books for the month as I'm still reading and the month isn't over yet.
That is impressive! Finishing 7 challenges in a month is nothing to scoff at. We all struggle with the series problem and manga series can be so long.
Here is what I read this month. As usual it's a fair amount of manga because I like reading manga. As for the clean up I finished up 6 more challenges this month. Not much progress on the series front outside of Toriko again
There really wasn't anything bad. The overly good was In Death, Death Bringer, Berserk, Open Season, XXXholic, Sweep of the Blade
I always love looking at what you read in a month because you always have a wide range of things. Lol. And great job on completing more challenges!
I just completed one of my big challenges that needed 84 books that I started in 2020. It feels so good to knock that one off my list.
Another month of reading behind me. As usual it's this weird smattering of things that somehow all equals up to being me. As for my goals for the year I completed 5 more challenges this month. Probably added double that to my list but shhhhhhh. As for series completion again the only one I'm really working on currently is Toriko but I am nearly done that. Depending on how things go I'll either have that done this month or next at the latest.
Overall it was a great book. I loved the creepy atmosphere that the book created and the unsure narrative really helped that feeling. The ending might be the only issue. It's not a bad ending in any way but for me it just didn't hit the highs I wanted it to. Others that I've talked to though have loved the ending.
With one book I finished up a couple of old and big challenges today. On was from late 2019 and one from early 2020. It feels good to get them cleaned up.
Another month and another pile of books. I completed 8 challenges this month and read some more Toriko. It's weird though, I'm here at the end of the month and I just don't feel like I read as much as I could/should. Maybe it's because I've been busy trying to keep up with new library books and challenge books instead of me books?
Regardless, it's not a bad month! And it's awesome that you completed so many challenges this month!
Woo!! Always a good feeling cleaning up those challenges well done!
Also still a rather excellent looking month.

This was not the best month of reading I've had. Work kept me tired/occupied most of the time and my entire schedule was filled with library books. I only finished two challenges but I did finish Toriko. That is one of the series off my list which is kind of nice. Hopefully next month is better.
Not bad at all Gord. Hopefully work will calm down a bit for you so you can get more reading done lol
Brittany wrote: "Best book of the month Gord?"You can never go wrong with the Rangers Apprentice or Tamora Pierce. Best new read though would probably be Book of Cold Cases with Talking to Canadians as a close second.
Ohhhhh man that is hard. For something that is a not a reread I'd probably go with Legends & Lattes but there are some just great books there.
Hurray for more reading! I always love seeing the variety of things you read. I always end up adding things to my tbr lol
