While I wouldn't say I completely understand your fears, I can say that I can understand your fears up to some extent. I think the most terrifying thing is that, choosing a person that you're gonna live with for the rest of your life. Like how do you know if the person's good for you in the long run? how is that person going to be after a few years have passed? how are things going to change for both the people after they've aged?
It's just hard.
And then you see couples staying in marriages just for the sake of society. Like it's somehow the society dictating the lives of people. Even though they don't wanna live with each other, they still have to do it, because of family and the society.
