There's nothing to be grossed out about. It's natural and people have it every month.
It's this fucking patriarchal society that has made the subject of menstruation a taboo.
If we don't speak about menstruation, we'll never be able to remove that stigma.
And romance novels or any novel for that matter, rarely talk about characters having periods, why don't they?
There's nothing to be cool about. I believe everyone should be talking about periods.

its just that most people (guys, usually) act super grossed out by it or they make fun about it
well i use that in my favor and i complain about it in front of them so they'll feel really uncomfortable 😎
