StardustReader (infinitythoughts) | 2662 comments How was the moon formed? https://www.space.com/19275-moon-form...
Scientists are still unsure as to how the moon formed, but here are three of their best bets.

The moon formed a hundred million years after the creation of the solar system. This has left scientists wondering what was the cause of our planet's satellite to birth if it didn't come from the events that formation of the planets. Here are just three of the most plausible explanations.
Giant impact hypothesis
Co-formation theory
Capture theory

The “Giant impact hypothesis” explanation sounds the most interesting of all!!
GIANT IMPACT HYPOTHESIS
The prevailing theory supported by the scientific community, the giant impact hypothesis suggests that the moon formed when an object smashed into early Earth. Like the other planets, Earth formed from the leftover cloud of dust and gas orbiting the young sun. The early solar system was a violent place, and a number of bodies were created that never made it to full planetary status. One of these could have crashed into Earth not long after the young planet was created.
Known as Theia, the Mars-sized body collided with Earth, throwing vaporized chunks of the young planet's crust into space. Gravity bound the ejected particles together, creating a moon that is the largest in the solar system in relation to its host planet. …
Maybe we still have the leftover stuff from the planet Theia somewhere around?

StardustReader (infinitythoughts) | 2662 comments Eh, It should have happened even sooner
After 27 years, Microsoft has finally bid farewell to the web browser Internet Explorer, and will redirect Explorer users to the latest version of its Edge browser.
As of June 15, Microsoft ended support for Explorer on several versions of Windows 10 – meaning no more productivity, reliability or security updates. Explorer will remain a working browser, but won’t be protected as new threats emerge.
https://theconversation.com/goodbye-i...

IE (internet Explorer) doesn't even support Java Script. Java Script is used to create dynamic websites, like drop down menus and stuff. Also, the games that you play on a web browser? that's also probably built using JS (Java Script).
I mean, who are these people who still use IE?
it's high time that those people say adiós to IE.

Wow, way to go!
IG some things are just hard to let go.

That, and people didn't have a lot of web browsers to choose from. Sure, they had Netscape, and Mozilla Firefox in 2004, however they didn't receive that much of popularity. Of course, the other reason why IE was so popular is it was the default browser on Windows 95, which was released in the year of 1995.
We have to also consider that IE introduced many Windows users to the internet.
