novel series based on theme that girls write qualities they want in man in a diary and they find those guys

I'm trying to find a novel series I think I read 5 years ago in 2016.It was a novel series in which there was a secret dairy onto which a girl writes all the qualities she wants in a man (I guess 10 qualities) and she finds a guy who possess all those qualities and ends up with him.She would then pass this dairy down to her friend or family member girls and then in the next book of the series a new girl would write the qualities she wants in a guy and her story would continue.In this way there were several books of this series each with a new girl.I remember bits like there was a grandmother of the family(Italian I think though not sure) and she would cook delicious food.Pls I anyone knows which book I'm talking about help me remember the title.
