Summer of Night, by Dan Simmons
Sadly,
is NOT eligible because we read it in August 2018. (It's one of my personal favorites too!!)
Also,
The Saturday Night Ghost Club was read in October 2019, and not eligible.

If you see any others, please let me know! I deleted and blocked her and I notified Goodreads. Looks like she did the same in numerous groups.

Summer of NightSummer of Night is by Dan Simmons and has that kind of Stephen King vibe but a lot more frightening and not to start a fight but I think Dan Simmons just has a better writing style or is at least something different if you are a Stephen King fan but want to read something else. Part of a series called the Seasons of Horror. I think all the books can be read as stand alone books regardless but Summer of Night is the first.
Sorry, Jaime. Summer of Night is not eligible, we already read it as a group. Please feel free to nominate something else.
Yep, next one is A Winter Haunting I think but haven’t read that one. Need to get back into Dan Simmons stuff.

I haven't really been as active as I should be, either. It's been crazy for me the last couple of months.
For me, it has probably been about ten years lol. Went through a lot and just have been keeping to myself but trying to be more outgoing and connect with people again. I remember this group being very fun and respectful so figured I’d see if it was still around and hell yeah it is. You guys have some great authors here as well now. Super happy to be a part of it again :)
Dark Across the Bay—Ania AhlbornSummer of Night—Dan Stevens
The Twisted Ones—T. Kingfisher (SO good!)
Voices in the Snow—Darcy Coates (the first of the Black Winter series and it’s my favorite series!)
+1 for Children of the Dark because it was THE best book I read this year
+1 for The Ghost Tree because it was the second best book I read this year.
