Move to full author?

I think in keeping with our policy of the more complete name that:

Lev N. Tolstoy

could be merged with

Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy

However, the Lev N. Tolstoy profile shows 3 possible full-name profiles. Should we instead, leave the profile with just the initial?

(Knowing, of course, that all editions of all titles should have Leo Tolstoy in primary position.)
