King Trials duology:
- The King's Trial: A mute radical. A brutal queen. A quest through a deadly maze.
- The King's Shadow: Two princes lead a war-broken people. One rules while the other serves in the shadows, haunted by encroaching death.
Hearth and Bard Tales (each is a stand alone fantasy based in a different part of the world)
- Vasilisa (Russia): War threatens. The forest calls. Will Vasilisa stay to protect the one who can never be more than a friend, or flee to the peace that the forest offers?
- Fourth Sister (Japan): Followed by death and a trickster kitsune, Shisei must unite her sisters to save the youngest.
- Heartless Hette (Germany): A princess, a fool and a stolen heart.
Readers say:
“It can be difficult to find a story that can boast exciting adventure, true love, clever riddles, exceptional and believable character arc, as well as a complete lack of rudeness or depravity. Heartless Hette is one such tale.”
– Melanie (Goodreads)
“Farb has created story line, character development, humor, plot twists, incredible prose, and deep truths that are all phenomenal.”
– Petey (Goodreads)
"But overall what makes me want to give this seven stars out of five is the overlying religious themes that give insights into how to approach God in the way that only the best authors can achieve (in the grain of CS Lewis etc). I love seeing both sets of main characters learn and grow and turn to God and others for support without being portrayed as weak or self righteous. I love this book and highly recommend the King’s Trial for fans of all fiction genres."
– Shay of Lightsbridge (Audible)

In a nutshell I am a Christian, wife, mother of six, author and poet.
Oh, you wanted more details? I’m married to my best friend and we are in the middle of the grand adventure of raising our six children. I love reading and writing fantasy. I recently published my fifth novel and a non-fiction book on family life. Writing happens around motherhood and both fill my life with joy.
Three interesting facts
- Ever since I climbed up to the rafters of our barn at age four, I’ve lived high adventure: scuba diving, hiking, climbing, and even riding a retired racehorse at full gallop—bareback. (the horse had the smoothest gait. It was like flying!)
- I took calculus at a community college at age 14. I planned to go to MIT and become an astronaut. Plans changed—in wonderful ways.
- I have an accent. People often ask me where I’m from. Maybe it’s my reader’s accent. I’ve read out-loud enough different books in character, that perhaps it stuck.
Favorite book: The Hiding Place, Les Miserable, A Single Shard,… Do I have to pick a favorite?
Favorite Author: CS Lewis, JRR Tolkein, John Flannagan, … Or as my daughter said, "You don't have to pick a favorite, just like you don't pick a favorite friend."
