Everybody knows Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boys. I was also partial to Trixie Belden, The Three Investigators, or the Mandie novels myself. I've recently gotten back into mystery solving stories and have read probably every Nancy Drew book under the sun, lol, but one thing I noticed is that all my bookshelf has is 'older' series. I love them to pieces but I also wondered if there was any more modern teenage/YA sleuth series out there, I'd love to read them.

it's strange but now thavtou mentioned it, my sribd has flooded me with Nancy Drews and Hardy Boys. Have you tried the Good Girls Guide to Murder. its a YA crime thriller. probably not in the league of Nancy Dreww.
The Enola Holmes series by Nancy Springer. Anthony Horowitz also writes a ya spy series, and Charlie Higson writes a young James Bond series.
Majanka Verstraete has rewritten Sherlock Holmes using his great great grand daughter and thrown in shape shifting and Paranormal stuff, in case you are interested. 1. The Wolf of Baskervilles.
2. A Study in Shifters etc.
