Are there any alternatives to be able to get it ordered after 9 and before 10? Because it's not a part of the series, but that is the advised reading order. Kinda like the spin-offs of the Kate Daniels series.

If you prefer, we can remove the spinoff books from this series, and create a second series called something like The Katverse which includes all the books from this series and the spinoffs, and only there have the numbering as I just suggested.
It's a prequel following a major side-character. It can technically be read in any order but books 10 onwards have spoilers for it. So best to be read before then.

Would it be possible to maintain Blood Hunter and Werewolves & Wizardry as spin-offs/related content (like they are now), in addition to a new Katverse Series listing? Can something be in two series at once?

I also don't see the point of having two series with the same list of books, unless they have a different order.
It would just be simpler if full-length books could have decimal numbering. Why is this not the case?

That policy seems to say that novellas must use decimals, not that only novellas/short stories can use decimals.But also, I asked "Why" that is the case. I know you didn't set the policy, but it should still be important to understand why a rule is in place. Rules aren't rules just because they're rules. They need a reason. A purpose.
I can see no real reason that a full-length novel spin-off cannot receive a decimal. It just seems arbitrary.
Because novels are considered primary works.
That still doesn't seem like a valid reason, though.Also, Gunmental Magic of the Kate Daniels Series is a full-length novel and listed as #5.5.

I will do that. I know you can't change it. But I do feel that if enough librarians got together to protest the weird policy, it would sort out a lot of problems.Please just have Blood Hunter and Werewolves & Wizardry as additional, unnumbered content on the Kat Drummond Series page. I will let the blurbs describe the reading order.
