Thank you so much Alondra! And I am so excited I found a short story to read for Nevada so i get to cross it off before this year ends, woohoo. I will definitely look at that folder again! I believe there's one called Junction Utah or something like that that i was thinking of trying but not totally sure yet!

You're so close, Alexandra. I am so excited for you. I just finished my list this month. North Dakota was a challenge. I had a book all picked out, but I never seemed to want to read it...so I picked up another book and couldn't believe that it also had a decent amount of the action happen in North Dakota. It wasn't planned, but it worked out. Good luck and happy reading!

What book was it that you ended up reading for it??"I read Rocket Girl: The Story of Mary Sherman Morgan, America's First Female Rocket Scientist, which I had heard about because she did her work here in California and her son wrote a play and this book after he couldn't get the newspaper to print her obituary (they thought he was making up what she accomplished because there wasn't a good record of it.) Anyway, I was thinking it was a book about California, but come to find out, she grew up in North Dakota and there are a decent number of chapters set there. Problem solved. :-)

5 Stars! I have been meaning to read this book for years and finally picked it up to read before watching the movie and I now have a new book to add to the "favorites" list!!! So heartbreaking and uplifting all in one!

2.5/3 Stars! Welp I saw this book on Audible and being absolutely in love with Mr. Connolly's voice and accent I thought I would love this! Sadly this was not the case. I had never heard or watched his stand up before and really only know him from a couple movies. Some parts were extremely interesting but also sad. I did laugh at some stuff but overall way too much bad and crude language/humor, just wasn't for me but still love that voice!

I will include longer chapter books I read with my daughter since they are usually 60-150 or so pages and can sometimes be a chore to read 🙄😂.
