YA Crime/ Mystery around a house break in by a group of boys who then assault one of the people in the house. Read 1998-2001. Spoilers ahead.

I remember reading this book as part of high school (sometime beween 1998-2001, can't remember which year of high school).

The story revolves around a family house where there is a break in from a group of boys/men. They vandalize the house but one of the daughters is home and is assaulted by them, and ends up in a coma. One of the boys that breaks in sees a photo of the other daughter, and stars to stalk her as he develops an infatuation with her.
