SOLVED. Children's book series about a Ballet school. [s]

It was a book about these young girls who went away to a ballet or dance school.
The people all had these animals as like familiars. The main girl from the first book had a donkey, there was a girl called Ursula who I think was a Rock Dweller who had a tiger, and there was a Lake Dweller who had an arctic fox.
I think the girl with the donkey was a Forest Dweller.
It was a series where each book was about a different girl at the school.
On the cover of the one about the Lake Dweller girl she was blonde and dancing on a frozen lake.
Printed on pink paper
There was also a little prequel story about a magic perfume that made whoever wore it dance really well.
I read these books somewhere in the noughties, between 2006-2010

The Kingdom of the Frosty Mountains series by Emerald Everhart. The first book is pink, Valentina de La Frou, although she has an eagle rather than a donkey. Jessica Juniper has a donkey.
