no problem! makes sense! =)

I know I didn't answer your questions earlier specifically, it you still need an answer please ask again!

Congrats to Team 3: We Caught Him Book, Line & Reader for winning the Speed Dating Rose for Date 3!!

Yes, but make sure I can check it - include links if necessary.

Speed Dating Rose - Team 3: We Caught Him Book, Line & Reader
Multiple Date Rose - Team 5: Knocking' on Seven's Door - Amanda
Longest Date Rose - Team 9: Maybe Not Till Death Do Us Part - Lynne (by 24 pages!)

The tag says "reunion" but in the book, it says "reunion party"...

Perhaps in context. I would need to see something that would indicate it isn't just two people reuniting, for example in a second chance romance.

Please remember that all tags/lists must qualify IN CONTEXT!! Links MUST be provided.
Don't make more work for yourself than necessary - if the qualifier is in the title or on the cover, use it! You don't have to go searching for tags to make it work. 😊 If the link you use for the book is the same you are using for the page count and edition - say so (see above edition or something similar)! That saves us all some steps. But please double check your links!
You may use separate editions of your Scavenger Hunt books to qualify for the different tasks. Links MUST be provided.
H is for ??? - ???
To be revealed when the date begins.
H is for Hello - Read a book with the ‘love at first sight’ or ‘insta-love’ trope.
To qualify, the selected book needs to include a 'love at first sight' or 'insta'-love' trope. You can use the precis, tags or lists as your qualification.
H is for Hirsute - Read a book with hairy person on cover.
To qualify for this task, the selected book's cover needs to show at least one 'hairy' person. For a female cover model, her hair needs to be clearly and obviously below her shoulders on the cover to qualify. For a male model, the cover needs to show that he has facial hair (more than 5 o'clock shadow!). Only one cover model needs to fit these requirements.
H is for Hocus-Pocus - Read a book that is MPG PNR or Fantasy.
To qualify, the selected book needs to have 'Paranormal' 'Paranormal Romance' or 'Fantasy' as a Main Page Genre.

Would a male who clearly has long hair work as well? Something like the model on the right:

thank you for asking! I was just going to post a similar question. =)

I understand if they wouldn't. Thought I'd ask.
Thanks!

I was going back and forth on this, I guess I will allow that.
I will add that your example really doesn't work - you can't see that the model has hair below his shoulders. It is going to have to very clear that it is.

I understand if they wouldn't. Thought I'd ask.
Thanks!"
I can see how that sort of works, but it can also fall into the enemies to lovers category. I would need more than just 'fated mates' or 'soul mates' to work.

Its ok if that exact example doesn't work. I just read it so I won't be using for this challenge. I couldn't find the one I was really looking for.
FollowUp: What about in a ponytail?
[book:Twist Me|55461165]

*I know Hennessey's Handler would probably qualify because of the beard, but I'm specifically asking about the bun part of the cover.

Thanks! I'll look for the tags you need. Just wanted to ask on these two.

I was going to ask about this as well. :-)

For Hocus Pocus - does the book need to MPG Romance AND MPG PNR?
Thanks!

For some reason your link doesn't work so I can't answer for that book. I will make a generic answer for males or females with ponytails though. A model with a ponytail will work if their hair is clearly and obviously below their shoulders.
So you can probably see where this is going with your next question...

Ignoring the facial hair that would make both covers work....
Any cover model with their hair up in a bun (male or female) is only going to work if the hair is clearly and obviously below their shoulders. So in your examples, the first cover does not work because you can't tell how long the hair is, but the second cover does because not all the hair is up and you can see some below his shoulder.

I'm going to do some research on this before giving a definitive answer - it might be to all your benefit.

For Hocus Pocus - does the book need to MPG Romance AND MPG PNR?
Thanks!"
Yes, all books for this challenge MUST be MPG Romance. For the Hocus-Pocus task, selected books need to also be MPG PNR or Fantasy.

I'm not really happy about it, but I will allow 'insta-lust'. It almost seems that a lot of people are using them interchangeably.

H is for Heal - Read a book with an MC who is a medical professional.
To qualify for this task, the book's title, series, précis, tags or list will need to indicate that a MC is a doctor, nurse or paramedic. Things look for to qualify: doctor, nurse, paramedic, EMT, medical or hospital. Medical specialties such as pediatrician or obstetrician will be accepted, but non-medical professions such as counselors will not. If in doubt, please ask.

Yes, that will work.

For Hello and the whole fated mates/soul mates issue - I need it to be more than just not enemies to lovers, I need something to indicate love at first sight.
For Hirsute - Clearly and obviously are your key words to that task. If you are questioning it, it is probably not clear or obvious.
As for the difference between scruff and 5 o'clock shadow - scruff is intentional, where 5 o'clock shadow is just not freshly shaven even if it has been longer a typical day. So I am looking at the difference between neat and trimmed, versus uneven, patchy or simply not freshly shaved to differentiate between the two.

Sorry to see you go Roger, but understand the need. Take care.
