Hi Christina, I'm not comfortable answering that one since it it will be actually clarifying the rule rather than just being an opinion on a specific circumstance. Kat will have to answer when she has a chance to get here. Sorry!

If it helps, according to grammar rules a hyphenated word is considered to be one word
Hi all! I'm back - mostly. We had family here through today and I've started putting the house back together, though there is still a ways to go! I've made a dent in the laundry piles - it's amazing how much bedding and how many towels 12 people need. 😳 This afternoon, we had to prep for the winter storm hitting us now. At least the forecasted snow amount is lower than it was yesterday - hopefully they are correct. 🤞🏼I will work on the questions here, then head over to my messages and then start checking books. It won't be quick, but I'll start making a dent tonight. (Hopefully the internet keeps working, the satellite is already out.)
Thank you for the understanding! It was a lot of work, but so nice to have everyone here for a little while. The kitchen issues made for even more work and stress, but it got done. There are still problems to fix, but I just ignored them for the holiday. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and weekend! And that everyone is staying well!!

Hyphenated words will count as one word, so that would work.

OK, I'm just getting started checking books in the SH thread. I want to make a couple of things clear.The alliterated words need to either begin with the same sound OR the same letter. But it has to be one of those to work.
Words that can be adjectives or other parts of speech, need to be used as a adjective in the title to work for Adjective!
I've noticed a lot of modifiers being used as adjectives when they are in fact still nouns - a couple of examples in this thread. Since this was overlooked initially and it wasn't until I went down a rabbit hole to check something that I figured it out myself, I will allow modifiers to work as adjectives for this task.

I definitely think I need my school money back😅 I keep thinking it is because English is my second language, but I am a 100% certain I would not do any better if it was in danish 😉

Its surprising how much you forget of the basics from primary school! I didn't really touch on this stuff in secondary school... OMG - over 40 years ago 🤣
I totally understand! You think you have a clear understanding of what an adjective is and then you start looking and it gets really confusing! I'm not sure whether I never learned about modifiers or if I completely forgot about them, but it was eye opening to gain an understanding of them. 🤔

If the book is tagged law enforcement (or similar) but the individual in question is FBI, DEA, Homeland Security, Federal Marshals Service, etc., would that work? I wans't sure if the prior no was because of the retired status or the agency.Thanks!
