Do you have a favourite book that you're maybe too old for?

I feel like a good MG book should be timeless really. If it's written well enough then you're never too old to read and enjoy it! I mean we classify them as "middle grade" but at the end of the day they're just well-written, enjoyable books!

@Kacie that’s the spirit! Love what you love! That’s basically the embodiment of the entire reason I set up this group. To bring together a bunch of people “too old” to read middle grade books but who did it anyway😂👏🏻

@Oleander we're always happy to welcome like-minded enthusiastic MG readers to the group, so welcome!😊 If you're looking for even more recs check out all our rec pages here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

To a lesser extent the HTTYD book series. While it's one of (if not) my favourite series, I think it's aimed at a slighter older audience so less fits the bill.
