Wow CB, you are rocking this challenge! I was aiming for 15, so pressure is nearly off for me, though I still have some in my queue. I've added just a few since my last update; I can't believe I didn't post these yet, but perhaps I've missed a post.

I read a lot and I read fast. The most difficult part of this challenge was populating the different time zones. I'm left with
The Master's Apprentice: A Retelling of the Faust Legend by Oliver Pötzsch and The Wall of Storms by Ken Liu and the first book also works for the series challenge (Duology).
However, I'm amazed that I'm this far ahead of the challenge curve this year
I have finished the challenge! ^_^ I changed two books at the last minute, because I happened to read another one that fit. I've left the original books as footnotes, because I do still plan on reading both of them. Enclave is on my very-soon TBR, and the short stories are for when I next start a new eye-reading collection. I have -9 open still, but I am not committed to finishing all of these, so I'm not getting hung up on missing one at this point.
That’s a good idea, Anna. I just need to remember not to sign up for so many challenges next year. I know you can relate.
I switched from Ken Liu's The Wall of Storms for UTC 8 to Sinopticon: A Celebration of Chinese Science Fiction edited by Xueting C. Ni for both country and author (all the authors are Chinese). There was one really interesting story in the bunch which was sort a reverse of World War Z flip with the Zombies being the main characters: Flower of the Other Shore. All in all this is a collection worth reading.
I have that on my TBR, but I've been reading so little short fiction lately :( Glad to hear it's good!
I'm trying to hit the 365 short stories a year this year and clear out the multitudes of anthologies I have in my TBROh, I forgot to mention - that book completed both sides (country and author) for the Circadian Challenge
One more challenge to go with one book to go: The Bone Shard Daughter to make 15 for the Cloud 9 Challenge
For -7 I read Jade City by Fonda Lee. Not my fav, but I am enjoying the variety of styles and cultures from this challenge. Also, picking up some of the SFFBC backlist when they coincide. remaining: -9; -6; -4; -2; -1; +5; +8

UTC -10 = The Girl from Everywhere by Heidi Heilig - raised in Hawaii and the book is mostly set in Hawaii
while still a YA book, this one is quite a bit better than the prior book. Time traveling prate ships tickle your fancy?
