Umm, so I finished it and….

IN FACT, I WAS RIGHT EVEN BEFORE THE MURDER HAPPENED !

I KNEW IT !
I was sooooo suspicious of those two !!!
There were let off too easily, I mean it was way too convenient.

WOW !

But then the ‘he couldn’t walk’ thing kind of threw me off.

They were never off suspicion though.

I was right about there being an accomplice too

So, i personally think this book deserves 3.5 or 3.75.
But I’ll give it a 4 since goodreads doesn’t allow half stars 🙄
And also since they aren’t too many good mysteries around here.

I personally wasn’t satisfied with the awfully slow beginning, like really really slow beginning.

Like, if it was done in the spur of moment then ok…

But premeditated murder being THIS risky ?
Come on, they were so many holes in the plan.

First of all, the time for the murder was WAY too short.
Like about 5 minutes I think ?

So anything could have happened in that time to delay stuff !
Like, maybe linnet wasn’t sleeping ?
Maybe someone would have caught him before he went to linnet’s room.
What if more than one people saw him ?
What if he’s late ?
What if somebody had noticed the red paint or stuff

So many things which could go wrong !

I also didn’t like one small thing…

IF the doctor wasn’t an old ugly man 😭😭😭

Not bad but also not as satisfying as expected.

I really enjoyed the story and I liked how there was a big cast of characters to focus on (none of them were too memorable except Poirot tbh)
The first 40 ish percent was realllly slow but things got a lot better, not a fan of the writing style but it's easy so i'll give it that
