Emma | 4 comments I read a book about 30 years ago (and I think it had been around for awhile before that) about mice that was sort of a commentary on the way humans created society and rules. From memory it was a short book. It started with just two mice who quickly multiplied and they started creating rules. At one stage someone invented the car but there were lots of car accidents so they created traffic lights and road rules. Can't remember the names of any characters or even how it ended but I remember it being very clever the way it reflected society.

Glad you found your book, Emma.

Would you say this story is for adults and/or teens?

Hi Kris - it has been a long time since I read it. I think I was about 18/19 when I read it and it has stuck with me ever since more than 30 years later! I am looking forward to reading it again. I think it is for both adults and teens.
