Good morning Barb!I have only read 2 from you list, “Pemberley” and the “Longbourn letters”. Very different but I loved them both.
Decisions, decisions decisions! Which to pick. Let’s go “Pemberley” then we can both do dragons together as my nomination is another in the series.
Hi Dawn, I have not read any of your choices so can't recommend anything from experience but I picked Mistaken Identity because it was on my want to read list. Hope you like it!
Kirk I choose what happened on box Hill. it intrigued me. I love idea of characters interacting with each other from different stories. I'd like to know what you think and if you recommend it

Hi, MichelleH, I pick Mr. Bennet Leaves His Study. I enjoyed it and hope you will too. Happy reading.

Thanks! It's been on my list for a while. I'm looking forward to it.

Hi Sophia,
I LOVED Epiphany but I’m intrigued by What Happened on Box Hill
Ultimately, I would love to hear your thoughts on Box Hill, so I’m going with that choice. I hope you enjoy! Can’t wait to hear how it is.

Thanks, Dawn! I look forward to the mystery the title hints at. And, I've heard good things about Epiphany so I'm going to try to squeeze in both.

I admire your commitment and hope you will be rewarded with many delightful hours improving your mind through extensive reading!!!😊
Hi Sam!! I am going to go with Quirks of Fate for you. I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it!!
Katja wrote: "Hi Dawn, I have not read any of your choices so can't recommend anything from experience but I picked Mistaken Identity because it was on my want to read list. Hi Patricia. You had a tough list to choose from. But since you picked so many Amy D'Orazio titles I decided to choose the one I liked best, (although all of them are on my reread shelf.) So, here goes: A Season of Waiting. I hope you get to the rest of this list eventually, too. Happy almost February.
Sue wrote: "Hi, MichelleH, I pick Mr. Bennet Leaves His Study. I enjoyed it and hope you will too. Happy reading."Thank you Sue!! He's up next.
I haven’t received a pick so maybe I’ll pick Miss Austen by Gill Hornsby for myself (cheating a bit because February is shaping up as a very busy reading month for me and Miss Austen is the Feb book for my JASNA group).
Abigail wrote: "I haven’t received a pick so maybe I’ll pick Miss Austen by Gill Hornsby for myself (cheating a bit because February is shaping up as a very busy reading month for me and Miss Austen is the Feb boo..."Maybe she just hasn't logged in yet.
You still have a couple days to go before Feb. begins.

I just want to clarify , you want me to read a book by amy dorazio or seasons pf waiting by christina Morland?
Dana wrote: "Hi Sam!! I am going to go with Quirks of Fate for you. I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it!!"I liked it very much! It is a lovely idea and I appreciated that the author didn't drag the whole story down with unnecessary scenes and details. I felt like I got a whole story quickly, no repetitions!
Thanks for the rec - 4 thumbs up!!!
Gillian wrote: "@katja I am picking The Child for you as I found it very enjoyable!"Thanks, I am looking forward to reading it. Actually I started it a while back but then I got distracted after a couple of chapters, not sure what happened because it seemed like a good book. Maybe some ARC needed reading, I don't remember. Anyway I never got back to that book and I'm happy to have the reason to start from the beginning :)

I say go for Miss Austen, Abigail. I'm curious to see what you think of it. :)

Miss Austen is up next as a reward for the book I’m just finishing, which is well enough written but a big dose of cod liver oil. Thanks, Sophia!
Katja wrote: "Hi Dawn, I have not read any of your choices so can't recommend anything from experience but I picked Mistaken Identity because it was on my want to read list. Hope you like it!"Hi Katja, thanks to being confined to my house due to Mother Nature's winter assault, I've had a lot of unexpected, but welcome reading time and finished the book you chose for me! It was quite an exciting adventure and I enjoyed it quite a bit. My stomach was in knots and I'm sure my blood pressure went through the roof while I read, but those are the best kind of books! ;-) I hope you get the chance to read it and would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for choosing it for me!
Abigail wrote: "Miss Austen is up next as a reward for the book I’m just finishing, which is well enough written but a big dose of cod liver oil. Thanks, Sophia!"I really enjoyed Miss Austen. Hope you enjoy it too.

Oh yes, you'll need quiet and contemplative Miss Austen after that. :)

Sue wrote: "Hi, MichelleH, I pick Mr. Bennet Leaves His Study. I enjoyed it and hope you will too. Happy reading."Sue, I loved this story, thanks so much for suggesting this one.
Jeanne, I am sorry to be so late. I thought I did this, but senior moment must have distracted me. I suggest A Splendidly Unsuitable Match by Jennifer Joy.
Crafty, Pemberley has been on my list forever and I really want to get into this series. Love the author, not fond of dragons. But, this is a good time to start.

Well I enjoyed this one immensely. I should not have waited so long to read it. Thanks Kirk.

MichelleH, I'm glad you enjoyed it I love Sydney Salier.

Well, I finished Miss Austen by Gill Hornby, and I confess I liked but did not love it. Some strong objections to the lady (Jane, not so much Cassandra) in this portrayal, which I can’t detail without spoilers. My review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show....
Sometimes a characterization just feels off and one can't get around it. Glad you were able to give this one a try, Abigail!

Oh gads, Patricia! I must have been brain dead that day. Uh, if you haven't figured it out by now, I chose Christina Moreland's book Seasons of Waiting. And by all means, at some point please read Amy's books from your list too. What I meant to say was that, since you had so many Amy D'Orazio titles on your list I could not chose between them. Slap forehead.
I'm so sorry I didn't see this until today.

I’ve just finished my challenge book - The Dragons of Kellynch. I really enjoyed it after the slowish start. I shall move onto the next one in the series soon.
Hi Gillian, I have just finished The Child and I liked it a lot, especially the latter part. Thanks for choosing it for me.And I'm glad you enjoyed Mistaken Identity, Dawn, I'll need to move it up My TBR
Wow, Dawn! Both Epiphany and What Happened On Box Hill were enjoyable reads even though they are very different in type. Thanks for the great picks. :)
Shifra, sorry for getting back so late to your recommendation, but it seems I made a mistake when making my list by including far from tree and a promise kept as I don't have these two books. So, please give me another choice.
Hey abmom, no problem! I really liked A Longbourn Entanglement, it's funny, original and Darcy is pretty cute in it. Hope you enjoy! :)
