I read this book in the range of 2014-2016, and from what I remember, a girl had just moved to the town the story was set in, and she went to the library and found either a book or box, and somehow she knew what to do with it. She puts something small in the box, and two other girls find it at different times, and they all rotate taking the book/box home with them and taking whatever was in there before and putting something new in it. I remember the cover had the three girls' on it from the neck up, coming from the right of the book, and there were stars dangling from strings. I also remember the cover was a light blue. I'm sorry I don't remember much of what happened, I read it when I was kind of young, and I don't remember everything that happened.

I also remember they ended up finding each other at the end of the book.
