As Tracy’s articles start to have an effect, the PR firm Nick Morley’s hired tries to intimidate her. Your thoughts about the firm’s conduct? Should Tracy have contacted Kim herself and reported what was being done to her?

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) Tracy should have brought it to Kim's or some other police officer's attention. Surely it would have seemed more than a coincidence that anyone who spoke against Nick had these "accidents". I'm not sure the PR firm going to these lengths was very believable. They were a legitimate firm weren't they, why would they resort to criminal activity just to protect a client?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Lisa, Many people, regardless of their position, can be evil. People like Nick know the individuals and companies who will use whatever tactics are needed.

I believe Tracy was concerned that the police wouldn't take her seriously, especially Kim.. Kim and Tracy have an unusual relationship. Tracy knows bullies, and believes she can use her position to expose the dirty tricks.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Yes, Tracy should have told the police about the "accident" and the fact that the same thing happened to Trisha's sister.

I didn't buy the PR firm actually being behind the accidents. The PR firm wasn't hired until there was a mistrial and they decided to prosecute him again. The first two "accidents" with Nick's ex and Trisha's sister, happened long before Nick was arrested. Maybe he had a friend who happened to work for the firm.

Lynn (ftbooklover) I was hoping that Tracy would tell Kim, but I understood why she didn't. She needed to prove her value to Kim and running to her every time she has a problem would not make her look very competent to Kim.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments You're right Tracy. I'll bet it was someone Nick knew who was shady. I forgot about the accidents before the mistrial.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Kim knew Tracy enough to set up an alter to let Kim know if any reports came in with Tracy's name on it.

I’m on the fence about this one. Obviously, Nick paid someone else to do the other two accidents but that PR firm had proven they weren’t above using deceptive marketing techniques in that crisp campaign. And, I don’t believe in coincidences. Tracy has an accident and that firm immediately calls her? If they didn’t organize it, they certainly were aware it was going to happen. They were part of the intimidation plan.

It would have been out of character for Tracy to contact Kim. She should have but I wasn’t surprised she didn’t.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Jonetta, Do you think that Nick could have the accident timed to happen when he knew the PR firm was going to stop by and talk to Tracy? He is an evil man. It wouldn't surprise me.

Sharon, why else would the PR firm call? They weren’t offering any incentive for her to stop her articles. They were smug about it and Tracy was confident that they were behind it. I trust her instincts and it goes to motive.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I see your point. I was thinking they were visiting Tracy to talk her out of continuing with the articles because they have more clout than she does.

She does have good instincts.

He said something like, “Are you ready to stop these articles?”

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I missed that.
