Thanks as always to those who attended this afternoon on our 3rd anniversary.
Discussed Douglas Kennedy - A Special Relationship,and surprisingly a very good discussion. Some enjoyed the first half of the book and didn't the second half, and some were of the opinion the other way around.
Mention was given that the author was male writing in the first person as a woman, and to the fact of an American in London was written so well, though at least he had the advantage of being American who lives in London.
Personally I struggled with the first half of the book once it gone on to the issue of post natal depression, but picked up from page 296!!! lol.
look forward to next month's meeting where we will be discussing Zoe Heller - Notes On A Scandal.
