here’s my first character so you can have an idea of what it’s supposed to look like

Personality: Adali is fierce and stands up for herself and won’t hesitate to fight back or hurt someone. She’s prideful and sometimes cocky but not overly so. She is kind of a showoff though and likes to win. She’s really sarcastic and can have an attitude, tending to snap at people. Adali is also ambitious, clever and cunning and wants to be the best. She likes to have fun, break rules and test boundaries. But she will work herself into the ground in order to not look weak.
Likes: dark nights, fire, winning, proving people wrong.
Dislikes: sexist, overly cocky and stupid people, large bodies of water, being beaten, looking weak.
Fears: failing completely, not being good enough, the ocean, drowning and getting too attached to people.

History: Adali had an ok childhood for villain standards. she grew up with her mother who was a witch but didn’t get her own fairytale. Her parents split up like most Nevers and her dad left when she was 7 never to be seen again, she was closer to her father and wished he would have taken her with him instead of leaving her with her mother. Her mother always wanted her to get into school and probably would have thrown her out if she hadn’t. but growing up a witches daughter has its advantages. Now that she’s at school she’s leaving her past behind and starting over, she wants to be a leader (obviously, everyone does) and wants to get her own fairytale where she wins in the end.

Special Talent: Can make and control fire, when she makes it it’s blue like her finger glow. The more she makes the more tired she gets and she can only control existing normal fire if it’s not too hot otherwise she’ll start to overheat.

Personality: Carmen is very strong willed and resilient as well as independent. She likes to do things herself and is quite capable, so she doesn’t like it when people try to take over and help when she can do it herself. She’s brave and loyal and will anything to protect her close friends. Carm is also smart and good at solving problems. But she won’t put up with someone acting like their superior when they're not.

History: Carmen ran away when she was little because she couldn’t control her powers and her mother would hide and shame her for her ability. She ended up wandering into Bloodbrook accidentally and was found by a pack of werewolves that took her in and taught her how to control her powers. So she grew up learning to fend for herself and hunt in human and wolf form. When she got accepted into the school however they put her in Good, where she doesn’t really fit in with all the perfect princesses. She can't wait to graduate so she can be out of the Good castle.

History: (prepare for a long story)
His mother, Lady Yin, was pregnant with Nezha for a startling three years and six months. When she gave birth, a meaty ball of flesh emerged from her body. Her husband, thinking that his wife had just given birth to a demon, slashed at the lump of flesh with his sword. A fully grown boy lept from the ball, bowed and greeted his parents.
Shocked at what they had just witnessed, Nezha’s parents froze with fear. However, a Buddhist monk named Taiyi Zhenren who helped deliver Nezha told them not to worry and that they had been blessed with a boy who wielded godly powers. Taiyi Zhenren then decided to take Nezha under his wing as a disciple. Despite the monk’s kind words, Nezha’s parents would always be a little bit uncertain about their youngest son.One day, Nezha was playing in the surf and noticed a little dragon boy off in the waves. Nezha was a very lonely child. Very few kids were willing to play with him because of the strange circumstances of his birth. So, he threw a ball at the dragon boy and asked him if he wanted to play. The boy, whose name was Ao Bing, was looking for a friend too and joined him on the surf. Nezha, however, didn’t know his own strength accidentally smothered his new friend to death while they were play-fighting.

Little did he know that Ao Bing’s father was the East Sea Dragon King, Ao Guang. Upon learning of his son’s death, Ao Guang was grief stricken and angry beyond reason. Ao Guang went to Nezha’s parents and demanded retribution—he wanted Nezha to die in return for his son’s own death. Torrential rains began to pour down from the heavens and Ao Guang threatened to flood all of China if he didn’t get what he wanted.

To save his family and everyone else in the country, Nezha chose to commit suicide and give his bones and flesh to Ao Guang as “payment” for his misdeeds. The rains stopped immediately. However Nezha’s soul was uneasy since he died at such a young age and couldn’t cross over to the afterlife. One night, Nezha appeared in a dream to his mother and asked her to build a temple for him so his soul would have a place to rest.

Delighted that her son wasn’t truly dead, Lady Yin went and commissioned a temple for her son. His father, however, felt that Nezha had brought too much shame and dishonor to his family, and took a hammer to the temple and tore it down. After seeing what his father had done, Nezha was filled with a murderous rage.

At the same time, Nezha’s master Taiyi Zhenren missed his student so much that he decided to reincarnate him out of a body made from lotus roots. After Nezha was reborn, the monk gifted Nezha a fire-tipped spear and the Wind Fire Wheels that gave him the ability to move at incredible speeds. Nezha immediately went to hunt down his father.

When Nezha’s father saw him coming down the road, he started to run for his life. He found his second youngest son, Muzha, and begged him to defend him against Nezha. Nezha killed his brother without hesitation and was just about to strike down his father when he was stopped by two Buddhas, Wenshu Guangfa Tianzun and Randeng Daoren. Though they agreed that Nezha hadn’t been treated fairly by his father, they reminded him that killing one’s parents was a grave sin. Realizing that they were right, Nezha decided to reconcile with his father instead.

History: She grew up with the Lost Boys on Neverland for most of her life. Her mother was a mermaid and her father a Lost Boy. After she was born her father had a magic spell put on her so could age in Neverland until given the counter spell. When she got accepted into the school for good and evil he was extremely proud. She grew up with a few other kids also with spells put on them and was sad to leave them but also excited to be in a fairytale.

Special Talent: she can hypnotize, enchant and control living things with her voice. It’s easier when she sings but she can just speak and it will still work it just won’t be as strong. She likes to call it Enchanting. She can use this power for good or bad.

History: When she was little and she first found her power she didn’t think she was that powerful. But her father thought he might be able to use her anyway. He started trying to get her to use her powers to steal and kill but she wouldn’t until he started threatening to kill her brother Callas. Her brother had always been there to protect her and he was the only person she really cared about. So Bree started doing what her father said, stealing and hurting people so he could get what he wanted. But one day she tried to escape with her brother and her father caught them and was about to kill Callas. So she struck out with her powers and killed their father before he could hurt them. They ran and lived on the streets for a while until Callas was taken to the school for good and evil leaving 11 year old Bree alone. Once he graduated he tried to find her but Bree was whisked off the school herself now.

He is scared he won't be able to protect the people he cares about but puts on a brave face at all times. He also tries to be honest about himself with other people but is scared of what they'll say so he hides from new people.

History: He discovered his powers at the age of five along with his twin sister Lizzie, who is his counterpart and controls water, cold, and ice. His main strongest memory is when he was practicing archery and accidentally hit his current best friend Elliot. He was able to fix the wound but it was very traumatizing and made him start behaving rashly and hurting others without reason. He has never been the same since.

History: When she was born she was always different. When she was 5 she almost killed a full grown man after getting annoyed and zapping him with an unexpected spell. When she was 8 she was found next to her mother's dead body. Everyone assumed that she killed her and nobody trusted her. The truth was that her mom had a reoccurring sickness. On the seventh time she had it her mother had been weakened until she passed away in her sleep. Her mother's death caused a horrible change in Ravana. She would get annoyed very easily and purposely hexed villagers. She lived alone near the lake and would only be visited by annoying village girls telling her that they were going to be good and she would be evil. She had been told this so much that she felt she needed to embrace the title of witch. She stole spellbooks and used them to look like an Ever but knew deep down she would always be an evil witch. The night she was taken she was not scared.

Special Talent: Turns colors to match her mood she takes potions to help with this and only turns green when she is annoyed even if she takes the potion.

Unlike the other nevers, Ben is haunted by what he did in his past.
Likes: Nevers, some Evers, school, and space
Dislikes: snobby, privileged princes and princesses.
Fears: Being alone, death, hurting someone close to him, and afraid of not being accepted.

History: Before he was born his parents moved to Ravenswood with his older brother. He was 4 when his mother died of sickness and after her death, Ben's father got easily angered. His brother got accepted into goodness school leaving Ben alone with their father. When he was 12, he angered his father one day, and his father grabbed a knife and came at Ben, Ben dodged the knife, grabbed the hilt, and by reflex he stabbed his father. The people found Ben crying next to his father, they took him to the castle where he was branded and imprisoned for a year. During his imprisonment, Ben was often thrown in the stockades in the main square, where the people would give him side looks and threw things at him. After his imprisonment, he was thrown into the street and survived off of barely anything. On Ben's last day on the street, a kind old woman took him in, fed him, clothed him, and washed him, and Ben thanked the woman millions of times and went down to sleep and left in the morning. The next day, he was accepted into the school of evil.

Special Talent: Ability to charm anyone, and very talented at brewing potions.

History: She grew up with her dad and older brother since her mother died when she was young. They lived in cottage on the edge of Sherwood just outside Nottingham. She would always wander out into the forest when she little but never that far, as she got older she started to venture further in. Ravyn became a great huntress and knew the woods better than almost anyone. She didn't particularly want to go to school but everyone said it was a great opportunity and her brother got in too so relented.

Special Talent: tracking and locating. She is unnaturally good at tracking and can find all sorts of things both living organisms and objects, although she can only find the objects within a certain range.

History: Carissa was always blamed for her mother's death. Her father never loved her because of this. He would get mad at her and when angered her would slap her against the cheek. She would get multiple beatings in a week and looked forward to the times alone under a tree when she could draw. She didn't go out of the house much because her dad saw her as a disgrace. Because of this her existence was hidden and no one knew her. She was left alone at her house most days while her dad would leave early in the morning and come back late at night. She soon got sick of the beatings and ran away when she was 13. She lived on the streets for a while and the day she was taken to the school for good was the day she found a home away from Maidenvale.

Personality: Kahli is quick witted, clever and wise beyond her years. She likes to play games and toe the line. She doesn't trust easy but when you do earn her trust she's extremally loyal. Kay knows how to read people allowing her to be whatever someone wants to see which is a good skill to have in her trade. She is independent and can take care of herself just fine and knows it. She prefers to stay quiet and listen and doesn't raise her voice much but if you hear her raise her voice you better run. If Kahli wants something done she will get it done no matter the costs, but she has a way of getting what she wants while tricking you into thinking she hasn't.

History: As her father probably doesn’t know she exists and her mother either died or abandoned her, so Kahli grew up on the streets from the age of 4 to 9. At age 10 she was taken in by a local crime lord, her and several other “street rats” worked as messengers in exchange for lodging and food. They would do little tasks, but when he noticed how quick and agile Kahli was, he started sending her to do jobs on the more illegal side, like thievery as well as spy work. When she got accepted into the school she felt both excited and ready for a fresh start and nervous to leave her old life behind.

History: Evangeline was born in the middle of the night. Her mother and father had tried for years to have a child. The only thing they could do was use magic. Her father traveled to find someone to help their pursuit of having a child. A few years later her mother got pregnant with Evangeline. Her mother died upon giving birth and she surprisingly had a twin. Her twin was the opposite of her and was disposed of immediately, her father favoring his prettier daughter. He tried to hide her away so she would stay with him forever but she snuck out of the house often and made many friends. Her father would spoil her with nice dresses and makeup but she never wore them. She preferred her trousers and baggy shirt she got from one of her friends. She taught herself how to climb trees, how to bandage up wounds, sword fighting, and even hand-to-hand combat. When she was taken to the School for Good she seriously thought of pretending to be a prince. When challenged by one of the princes to sword fight she won easily.

History: Echo grew up in a coastal town when she wasn’t at sea. Her parents never officially married but they stayed together raising their two daughters as a family.
