Children's Funny Book - I read at school - Possible 1990 maybe

I read this book while being at school and it was so funny, it would be great for my Kids to read.

The book has several Short stories, one was about lots of flies covering a house, one was about a young lad that made special wings and then fell to his death, one was about poo and one was about a lighthouse ghost.

can anyone help with this
