Post with specific user's name has been removed. General questions are fine in this group; questions about specific users or their edits are not.

Note: To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- like characters in common, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc.

If there is a collection like you're referencing where information can go in the edition field, you are welcome to post the books here and someone can look at it.

Telaara Dunwin | 7 comments I understand what a series in Goodreads meaning is, I never grouped these books, just wrote the information wrong in the title field instead in the edition field. And I thought it was a general question concerning series vs collections. Non of my questions were answered. Maybe if I had written "someone" instead a name. Sorry about that.

Telaara Dunwin | 7 comments Okay, in short, the first and for me more important question was about: Why not write the information for a collection in the title field like a series, like "(Spannend erzählt #211)" or "(SF Utopia)" - that are two examples of collections of unrelated books - so not series in Goodreads meaning. I understand it IS the policy, but I would like to understand why. Just want an explanation I understand.
