Ha, my two recent enjoyable reads, Hell of a Book and The Echo Wife, are getting wide ranges of reactions. Time to put on my tough TOB skin and be ok with loving books some people don't, and disliking books others love. I mean, this happens year round, it's just more evident during TOB season. :)
Recently finished Hell of a Book and The Promise, both of which I felt were stronger than most of the offerings in the tournament. The Promise had some of the strongest writing so far this year, I think.

Yes I generally dislike satire A LOT, but I loved this book. I listened to it the audiobook, and I think that helped a lot.
