Can a merge be done on placeholder covers?

On https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
can some old placeholder covers be merged?
The only two covers that were ever published are the two with the "ACE" notes on them.

Given that the other covers appear to have imported from Amazon on or after their edition's initial publication dates, those covers appear to have been listed for sale at one point.

Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition. See http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1... and https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/....
