Please help me find this book! Its about a girl who goes to stay with her gran and is told not to open the oven door. She opens the door and out comes a black cat/devil and eventually there are a few cats walking around with little horns. Sorry this is vague but its all i can remember!

Is this a children's picture book (about 32-48 pages) or a chapter book?

Are the illustrations: simple or detailed, realistic or cartoon-like, painted watercolors or bold graphics, color or black-and-white? Do they remind you of a similar illustrator or children's author?

Hi Kris, I would have read this book around 1994-2000 I reckon and it's a children's picture book. From memory I think the illustrations were painted watercolour.
