Jet worries incessantly about her mother and shapes her life around her care. Was she inadvertently making her mother more reliant on her, delaying her recovery, or was she doing what needed to be done?

Jet was doing what needed to be done. Nancy needs her, but I didn't get the vibe that she was using her. Nancy is doing everything she can to get better so Jet doesn't have to work so hard.

I thought it was a little bit of both. Yes, Nancy needed her help but Jet was hindering her from regaining her independence.
