I already read Fear and Loathing in The Vega but i might read it again is very good and funny i think
they made a movie adaptation of the book im reading i hope they included the prostate exam part its integral to the story and if the movie doesnt have it it would not be very faithful Cosmopolis
Gonna read John Dies at the End soon but I haven't started it yetThis John character sounds nice I hope he doesn't die
This book is wild. A character has to pay a door fee. And he has to insert 5 cents into his apartment door’s slot so it opens but he doesn’t have any money so to escape he begins unscrewing the bolts, and meanwhile the door is threatening to sue him. You can get sued by a door in this world. So cool amirite
I finished reading Las Armas Secretas by Julio Cortazar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_arm...). it was nice i think :tiw:. There was a lots of dogs and barely any rape, contrary to lots of rape and barely any dogs, which is bad.
I was reading Non-stop by Brian Aldiss, it's got a somewhat interesting diction. The setting is cool too, it's on a planet where there are these nomadic tribes that constantly move themselves, including their buildings infrastructure etc. The terrain is covered in dense shrubbery, so it's very hard to see or venture outside the tribe's area. There are people tasked with cutting the roots of the shrubs so that the tribe can keep moving forward. The main character is one of these people. I'm very early into the book but I'm guessing the story is about the things this guy encounters as he cuts the roots to go through unexplored territory
im reading "the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime" i picked it because it has an upside-down dog on the cover and it looked interesting
