A few days ago; I think he wanted to prioritize other things and felt like he should take time off of GR…the first thoughts thread isn’t the same without him, though :(

No! Dang! I was really starting to wonder if he had. He will absolutely be missed! Maybe he'll come back, at least a bit, as time goes by. whatever the case may be, we must try to keep his legacy alive through this topic!

(I, too, hope that he comes back. He definitely contributes a lot to our group. I know he loved answering questions about Catholicism, but maybe those questions/answers took too much time and he decided GR was taking up too much of his time.🤷♀️ I know those discussions take up more of my time than I normally spend on social media, so I sometimes wait to reply until I have time—then the topic loses steam. Being in this group on GR has been great for me—y’all are just about my only bookish friends, so I value you, but it is a balancing act for sure—one that isn’t always easy to maintain. I hope Stephen finds a way to balance his presence here without feeling like he needs to delete his account when GR starts to take too much time.)

(I was wondering where Stephen went to- I was like, “Why are all of these first thoughts so short??” 😂 I hope he comes back soon!)
brussel sprout cake pops (our homeschool group did a prank for April Fools once where they did a cake pop eating contest except it was actually brussel sprouts covered in icing, it was hilarious to watch, especially since a lot of the victims were my friends so its inside joke now...lol...
