Hi everyone, I thought I would share some books that I have read the past few months and enjoyed so you could maybe read them too.
The last Mrs. Parrish; A con artist purposely tries to be friends with a rich pretty lady because she is jealous of her. THIS book is one of my favourites I didn't expect to like it so much my boyfriend kept asking me for updates on it while I was reading because he was enjoying it too (he wasn't even reading it). This book has lots of plot twists and is better to go into knowing nothing which is why this "synopsis" is so short and brief.
A Good Girls Guide To Murder; A teenage girl lives in a town with some history to it and gets assigned a project for school. She takes advantage of the project and uses it to solve a murder case. Along the way, she discovers many things and finds herself in danger. Following her on this journey was so fun and I can't wait to read more of this series. (I'm being stubborn and waiting for the paperback editions of the 2nd and 3rd book to come out because my first one is paperback and I hate when book series don't match).
A Thousand Boy Kisses; This book broke me and I will forever love Rune and Poppy. I am actually surprised at how little people have read it. Basically childhood friends to lovers to enemies to lovers. I won't say more if you do read this book go into it knowing nothing. I promise if you like cliche romances that are also tearjerkers you'll love it. ( I wish that there were prettier editions but there isn't)
The Body; This book is well 'Stand By Me' but in book form haha. It was good and had so many good quotes. I wouldn't say that I loved it but I read it really quickly and was thoroughly hooked.
Ruin and Rising; OMG so good 'Shadow and Bone' and 'Ruin and Rising' are definitely my favourite books in the SAB series. Both fast-paced and captivating I didn't want to put them down. I definitely recommend reading SAB (or just books in the Grishaverse) if you like fantasy.
