Great review. And good for you for growing into your strength and telling us about it. You are strong - I learned the only thing that can defeat me is myself, if I quit or give up. I will always get up again and I hope you do, too. There is a saying, maybe Bhuddist, fall seven times, get up eight. And I love Lisa Scottoline, too. Anything she writes is good and now she has taught her daughter to join her. Keep it up - keep standing, keep reading and keep writing reviews. I am divorced. Only married once and I often quote Scottoline and E. Roosevelt. Thanks for reading and reviewing this book. I tell folks about it all the time. peace, janz

Lisa Scottoline is best known for her fiction books where the lead character is a woman. But she also writes a column for the Philadelphia Inquirer called "Chic Wit". I am currently listening to her nonfiction series and they are very humorous. Co-written with her daughter, Lisa talks of real life stuff, real life woman stuff, her own personal stories & accounts about life and about being on her own and maybe not ever getting married again.
The quote by Eleanor Roosevelt is a favorite of hers and that of her mother, Mother Mary. Mother Mary is really the star.
As a single mother and a middle-aged woman, I can so relate to many of her stories. I have learned to be strong, especially with the water is hot.
