9. I don't know. 😭 I keep starting new books without finishing old ones, so technically, I have a whole slew of "unfinished books."
9.) The selection (The entire series was bad and the main character was pretty annoying. She can’t make a decision to save her life lol)
Nessa, would you like the honor of picking the new topic? No worries if you want to pass it on to someone else.
Nessa wrote: "Sure! Have you done least favorite characters yet?"
Nope! That's a really good one, in my opinion!

3.) Octavian from the Heroes of Olympus series. (He’s just sooooooo annoying and gets in everybody’s business. He only cares about himself and doesn’t care who he hurts to get his own way)
@Mollie I can’t stand Rachel either. She’s trying way too hard to give off “I’m not like other girl” vibes and she be getting in the way of percabeth lol (well, only in the fifth book.)
Z.C wrote: "1. Jake from A Curse So Dark and Lonely (He Made me So Mad, and He's such a Terrible Brother to Harper. Sorry if you like him lol. )"
I also dislike Jake! Basically every other guy in that series turned out to be better than him. XD Everyone else just sorta tries to tolerate him, but it's still annoying.

Thank you!
4) Hercule Poirot. I like his adventures, but by the end he became a caricatural cliche and a walking bag of tics. I prefer Marple.

Cool, I'll check it out! Romance is cool- I usually read it as a subgenre, but I still enjoy it. Thank you!

@Z.C.—yes, yes, yes! Obsession does not equal love. And if he did truly love her, he would have at least cared for Harry, no matter which parent he looked like.

Sorry to disappoint you, Mollie. :D (But I personally think our reasons stand on their own.🤷♀️)

Oh my goodness, yes. Gray's disdain for him is amazing. XD And Noah should really just leave the guy, too.

10. Hot take, y'all, but I've been thinking about it a lot lately, and I've decided I don't like Jaron from TFP. He's largely unrealistic and unrelatable. No MC should feel so infallible. His adventures are "fun," especially in the first few books, but later on, he just becomes insufferable.
Sharon wrote: "@Lily—yeah, I know it isn’t a popular opinion, but Jaron did not hold up well on reread for me."
Yeah, I'm not planning to reread the series anytime soon because I'm afraid the same thing will also happen to me. The first book delighted me, but things are less impressive when looking at it as a whole.

It would have been much better if she had stopped with The Shadow Throne, imo. Still unrealistic, but not as much Jaron-you're-a-relational-idiot stuff to deal with as it would only be three books instead of five. My son, though, is enjoying them as I read them to him.😉

Yes, I would've liked that as well. My siblings are both younger than me, but they're oh-so critical of books (much more than I am). I can't get either of them to like The False Prince anymore. XD

How do you pronounce 'Deirdre'?"
It's pronounced "DEER-dre." My junior high orchestra teacher was named that. :')
