4. Some time when I was teaching, I started the habit of repeating myself without barely a pause between statements. When giving directions to my kids, I still say it twice. “Put your dish in the sink. Put your dish in the sink.”🫣

Funny thing is, not one member of my family has called me on it.🤫

5. I talk out loud to myself- but usually not actually to ✨ myself ✨, sometimes it’s directed as a conversation with people i actually know, but often it’s to the characters I write about… it helps me get to know them better & write scenes more accurately
