6.) Every morning I walk my dogs 3-4 miles while listening to worship music or an audio book. It is my favorite way to start my day.

7: My mom recently got a bird feeder for our yard, but she works all day. So me and my sisters take turns watching the bird feeder and tell mom how many and what kind of birds found her feeder every day <3
8} every end of play I did and planning on making a card for each person telling them how amazing they did. its really fun to do and their all so thankful!
9) The good morning and goodnight hugs from my dad are such a little yet huge part of my day. He was just away for a 2 week vacation and I sorely missed it.
10. We have a kitten that lives next to our house because her mom died and we want to keep her safe. So every day at some point I’ll go and sit on the porch and pick her up and hold her, or I’ll play with her since she doesn’t have a companion to play with. I love doing this, especially filling my phone with endless pictures of her. lol But it just makes me so happy, and I’ll always remember this time!
1. For me, that would be the Little House on the Prairie series bringing back warm memories of my grandmother.
I had to be shooed outside on nice days because I would rather read, yet the only books I really remember reading are the Little House books. My grandmother was a big reader and loved giving me books as gifts, and this series was one of those gifts. She spaced them out over 1 or 2 years, and I just gobbled them up. I cannot think of this series without thinking of her, and I still have the books even after trying to give them away when we moved to NYC. I gave them away, and then they made their way back to me.

2. ooh so many. I have so many memories of my dad and sometimes my mom reading books to me and my siblings. I think one of the more memorable ones were Little House on the Prairie (also lol) and Goose Girl
4. Lucky Luke comic book series drawn by Morris with text by Rene Goscinny. Who is the same guy who wrote Asterix. Lucky Luke is in French and Goscinny was the funniest Frenchman ever, no contest. Sorry, De Funes. The series remains my favourite western, whether in book or movie format.
5: The Silver Chair. I have so many fond memories of listening to the audiobook with my siblings whenever it was raining and we couldn't play in the woods <3 or Where the Red Fern Grows, I remember my older brother use to read it to me and my sisters before bed and I'd always fall asleep in his lap <3

6. The Chronicles of Narnia! I've always loved those books (and I'm trying to get my hands on all the collector's editions)
9. I don't know. 🤣 Heidi, maybe? Plus Hitty, Her First Hundred Years, A-Z Mysteries, Magic Tree House, and books like Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Owl Moon, and Good Night Moon. 🥺

6) packing extra books in a box
(I’ll pray for your daughter, Sharon!)

You're lucky. :) I vehemently dislike all social media; I think it encourages shallowness and narcissistic tendencies. Texting and emailing are more of a "social media" (figuratively speaking) than Instagram or FaceBook will ever be.

Do you mean less of a social media?

No, I mean more, in that those applications are better at facilitating communication (the "social" component of social media) than social media is. I think most social media is more about self-aggrandizing than actually communicating with other people. I'm open to being corrected though, if you think I'm wrong :)
So, I think the term "social media" is misleading. Idk what to call these platforms, but the term "social media" seems inaccurate. Some people consider Pinterest and TikTok social media, too, but idk why. I've not on either of those sites, though.

i like that it's a way to connect with friends from all over the world. my best friend lives in Belgium and this because of ig, we're able to chat without disruption. and I like being able to keep in touch with my friends and roommates who have moved away. it's also very useful as bookstagram go find good books to read :P
