Oh my goodness, this is so relatable!

3. The Adventure: The Mystery Of The Madis Box (long name, don't know if I got it right but something like that..lol...)
Lily, I honestly only read the prologue because I was in the middle of too many, but it was really good! The movie was good too! The soundtrack had a couple of my favorite songs on it.

I saw Lauren Daigle's Rescue was in it, which is wonderful! I still need to watch the full movie, though.

2. Outlander
It was a most frustrating read--I kept reading, hoping for it to become all I wanted it to be, but it most decidedly did NOT.

4. Wings of Fire....I didn't even finish it, the gore content was just sooooo gross and just awful! the book had paternal but the gore was wayyy overdone
5. Elijah of BuxtonThis book was super slow; the main plot didn't actually start happening until the last quarter of the book. I was forced to read this for school a few years ago 🫤
6. Midnight SunIt's another Twilight Saga book, just through Edward's eyes. I skimmed through it just because, but couldn't bring myself to finish page 10.
@Jaiden
I'm so sorry you feel that way😔 I personally loved the WoF series. But I would definitely not recommend Lore then, because the gore is a lot worse in this book than the Wings of Fire series.
@Maura, I did like it, but I just couldn't get past the gore....it was too much for me...Okay, thanks for the heads up, I probably won't read that then. thanks for letting me know :)
I think I’m number 7…? A book a didn’t like was actually one that I’m almost done with. It’s The Stand by Stephen King. The book has way too much vulgarity for me. I feel like we invested so much time into getting to know characters just for them to have an ending that wasn’t meaningful. There were about twenty storylines. I also felt like I was reading Stephen King’s mind as he was debating whether or not he believed in God. And Another book I didn’t like was “lord of the flies”. I thought that one was awful for many reasons as well
I thought Lord of the Flies was disturbing, but overall I actually enjoyed it. I like books that go into the psychology and sociology of human nature, inaccurate or not.

Goodness, I can't believe there's such a thing as Twilight through Edward's eyes!

I was just talking about Lord of the Flies with my family the other day! Would anyone recommend it?
