Super Informal Last Minute Halloween Readathon-type Thing! Ok, we do not actually have a readathon again till April, but I was THIS close to putting our readathon this weekend instead of last weekend so we could have a Halloween optional theme. If Halloween had been on a Saturday, I totally would have. So, if you want to join in, I am hosting an informal, totally unofficial readathon-type thing from roughly now till bedtime tomorrow night (basically from now through the end of October). For myself this is THEMED, so I will be picking books that are scary(or at least supposed to be scary), or at least fall or Halloween monster-ish.
If you do join in you are welcome to use the hashtag #readathon so your posts are more findable by other readers. I'll post a few sprints on our facebook, and I made this single topic for this 'event' on Goodreads, but since this is just my own last minute thing, that's as formal as we'll get on our readathon sites. Keep track if you'd like on your own topic in our For the Blogless folder, or on your social media, or in a notebook, or not at all if you just want to be super casual and offline. No sign-ups, no pressure, just reading books, possibly Halloween themed books. 🙂

Yep. This is an informal event, so its rules are even more up to you than usual. You can use your own social media sites or your topic in our For the Blogless folder, or just post in this topic. Read as many or as few hours as works for you, and you get to decide whether to stick to a theme, and what your theme consists of if you have one.

Lena | 364 comments I think this person has questions about this readathon. They posted in the wrong area (on my blogless post about it).

Sherri | 1 comments My sister and I launched our own informal Halloween Weekend Readathon this morning because last weekend’s Readathon was not enough reading for us. 😂😂😂 We might not read scary things but we are right there with you otherwise. 📚🎃👻

Good luck everybody!
