I'm really enjoying this. I love the friendship between these three ladies. And I love how they baffle the duke with their behavior. I'm curious which of the ladies those two men were trying to kill?

Alexandra's enthusiasm for archeology is delightful, I love how passionate she is about it. I wish she would tell Piers what happened to her so he can stop being an ass about the fact she wasn't a virgin.

At this point I feel like someone could be trying to kill either one of them. They both have enemies, so it's possible. Also, these two seriously need to talk to each other. They're falling for each other but they don't trust one another.

So it was a combination of people after both of them. These two sure do know how to get enemies. I'm glad they stopped them and both came out of it ok. Also, I like that Piers sufficiently made up for being an ass earlier.

This is good so far. I like Cecilia's character a lot, I'm interested to see how she handles this whole gambling hell/Scarlet Lady thing. And Ramsay is probably not going to react well to that news. I hope it comes out sooner than later though.

Ok I'm glad Ramsay knows that truth about who Cecelia is. I don't love that he immediately jumped to she must have been tricking him the whole time but at least he now believes she didn't kidnap these missing girls.

I really like these two together, I hope they can figure out their issues soon so they can be together. I'm still so curious about what is in this code book that Henrietta left Cecelia. And who is behind all this bad stuff?

The ending of this one had so much going on. That whole thing at the cottage was well done, it's interesting that the Count isn't actually a Count and that he actually works for the Crown. I hadn't suspected Genny of being involved but it makes sense now. Overall I enjoyed this one and I'm looking forward to reading the last book.

This is good so far. I had a feeling after the opening that the Devil of Dorset was going to be Declan and I was right! I do wonder how he'll react when he finds out Francesca is Pippa. Right now he thinks she's just some random imposter. Also wonder what her reaction will be to him being Declan since he's part of the reason she swore revenge.
