Friends count at 1 when infact it’s zero

Hello I had a unsolicited friend request today I assume from a fake account. I refused it but it still showed on my desktop friends list. I unfriended “him” then blocked that account but my friends count still shows 1. But worrying from a security perspective.
Thoughts?

Librarians are volunteers who do the book cataloging, edit quotes & stuff like that. We can't help with issues of site functionality.

The friends added even though you hit ignore is a known issue being investigated.
The site will take time to catch up with your number of friends, as it is heavily cached. Next time just ask in the Help forum or contact Support.
