Children's Picure book with Automat illustration or about automats. Published 1950-1980?

I am looking for a book on behalf of my brother. It was a children's book, likely published between 1950 and 1980. Unfortunately, literally the only information I have is that it was either about automats or contained a picture of an automat. Thank you in advance!

In From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler the children eat in an automat for several meals; I'm not sure there's an illustration of it, though.
