Morgan (dhartanya) | 5 comments Ok trying to find a book I read in high school so, published before 2003. Fiction. Stand alone book (not part of a series).
It took place along the west coast of America.
It was about a deadly algae that was spreading. I remember Oregon and Washington being locations in the book.
I thought it was called Red Tide but I can't find it under that name.
Not the one by GM Ford or by W.Dale Justice.

Morgan (dhartanya) | 5 comments this blogger mentions it lol but not the title

Um, the blogger does mention both the name and the author:
Sea Change by James Powlick.

I get like that sometimes, almost blind to what is right in front of me, lol.

Morgan (dhartanya) | 5 comments actually... she edited the name in this afternoon after I emailed her and she told me she didn't remember. a friend actually found the name of the book and I let the blogger know who then updated the entry to include its name.

Morgan (dhartanya) | 5 comments I just haven't been back online here to update this post that I found it (and have now ordered a copy on ebay as it doesn't come in an ebook and I don't like audiobooks)

Lynn (lynnbar) | 126 comments I'm pleased that you found the title and author.

And the blogger editing her post does explain why you didn't see the details originally.... guess I'm alone in my sometimes doolallyness :D

Morgan (dhartanya) | 5 comments oh I've done that too many a time lol this time though she only edited it because I told her the name and author. she's also an author and I actually started reading one of her books
